Mary Richinick, Award-Winning Graphic Designer, Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who

CHARLTON, MA, September 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Graphic Designer Mary Richinick has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in graphic design.

Ms. Richinick helms an award-winning business that has created marketing materials for companies around the nation. She designs media kits, brochures, logos, signage and packaging, handles copywriting, and purchases hardware and software. She also subcontracts to other designers, manages recordkeeping and bookkeeping functions, develops marketing plans, and prepares proposals for the array of projects that she executes. Ms. Richinick, who has 30 years of professional experience and established Mary Richinick Graphic Designs six years ago, has since won a number of awards for a variety of print materials. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board for Quinsigamond Community College, from which she graduated in 1998 with an Associate of Science in applied arts. She has completed projects for UMass Memorial Health Care, the Worcester Cultural Coalition and a broad range of other health care companies, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses.

Inspired by a childhood love for art, Ms. Richinick pursued a career in graphic design that has met with great success. In 2008, she received a Marcom Gold Award for package design and an American Graphic Design Award for brochure design, and in 2009 garnered a Marcom Gold Award for calendar design as well as American Graphic Design Awards for invitation, trade show booth, and newsletter design. Last year, Ms. Richinick earned a Marcom Gold Award for tote bag design, Marcom Platinum Award for media kit design, American Package Design Award for point of purchase display, and American Graphic Design Award for branding — and the list goes on. She feels that her success stems from sheer hard work and her dedication to pleasing her clients on both small and large projects. She looks forward to expanding on her expertise and doing more trade shows, Web work, and packaging. She also plans to create applications for mobile devices. Her professional affiliations include the Worcester Area Chamber of Commerce and AIGA.
