Mrs. Griffin celebrates 25 years in engineering and technology

GREENVILLE, SC, August 31, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stacie Griffin, Control Systems Designer for Applied Control Technology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in control systems and computer-aided design.

Mrs. Griffin has amassed 25 years of professional experience in the engineering and technology arenas. Her expertise in control systems and computer-aided design shines through in her current capacity at Applied Control Technology, as she is responsible for designing instrumentation devices and coordinating with processing specialists. By remaining on course in her endeavors, she ensures that the engineering, procurement and construction services provider is always on target.

Mrs. Griffin received an associate degree in engineering and graphics technology from Tri-County Technical College after receiving a full scholarship for drafting. She began her career in a drafting position at the engineering department of Owens Corning. After gaining experience with the company, she was able to progress from drafting to design. She has come to realize that she has a deep passion for engineering and instrumentation design. She attributes her success to her diligence and ability to stay updated on the latest technological advancements. Going forward, Mrs. Griffin plans to take classes in project management.
